A cutout that never leaves your device.
Most background removers upload your photo to a server. This one does not: all three segmentation models — the Apache-licensed MediaPipe selfie segmenter (Fast), the MagicTouch interactive segmenter (Click the subject), and the MIT-licensed BiRefNet_lite model run by onnxruntime-web (Best quality) — are self-hosted on this site (their origins, versions, and file hashes are documented in provenance files shipped alongside them) and run in your own browser tab. The first use of a mode fetches its model and runtime from this site — ~11.7 MB for Fast, ~17.7 MB for Click the subject, and ~86.9 MB for Best quality, every number measured from the actual files at build time — and after that the work happens locally. Better masks come from a bigger model; whether that trade is worth it is your call, made where the sizes are stated.
01
Private by construction
The image is read, segmented, refined, and recomposited in your browser. No upload, no account, no watermark, and no credit countdown — for any of the three modes.
02
Know each mode's lane
Fast is people-tuned — ideal for speaker, host, and CTA portraits. Click the subject handles products, pets, and objects you point at. Best quality (~86.9 MB on first use) runs the largest on-device model for any subject — and even it can miss fine details like stray hair, so the Edge slider and Restore/Erase brushes are there to fix edges yourself. No mode is guaranteed to nail every photo; you see the result in seconds, for free.

Straight into a promo
Export a transparent PNG or a solid-fill PNG, then use it as the CTA image in the Promo Studio to build the full promo package around it.
